SIGERSHADERS™ XSMP by Siger Studio for 3ds Max is a continuation of the well-known plugin family: V-Ray Material Presets Pro (VMPP), Corona Material Presets Pro (CMPP) and Material Repository Pro (MRP).

But at the same time, this is a completely new software created from scratch.
The idea behind the software dates back to 2006 – the first free material manager written with MaxScript (only had a few free material libraries). The history of the commercial plugin started in 2009 (C# and MaxScript).
Currently – written in C# / C++ and has thousands of material presets, fast and easy material manager, material lab to test your materials.

Preinstalled Materials
Hundreds of high quality materials in prebuilt libraries for each render engine supported (Pro and Studio versions). High quality and resolution texture maps (4K and above).

Well Organized
For a faster and more efficient way to view content presets, the XSMP Pre-built Library Manager has convenient features for displaying all content contained in categories and subcategories.

Integration
XSMP is integrated directly into 3ds Max and therefore does not require additional modules to communicate with the host software. Manage your materials right in the 3D app.

Ability to organize your material library
Manage your materials in an unlimited number of libraries. Create virtual categories and folders of any hierarchical depth.

Multiple Previews
Create your own previews and import additional preview images (up to 3) into the Material Browser. Images can be enlarged for better viewing.

Why this remaster?
Our original Wood Veneers series was released between 2008 and 2010 to great success. It is still the most complete and, in our opinion, best collection of wood textures on the market.
But a lot has changed since then in the 3D visualization business. Unbiased rendering gained market dominance which lead to a much greater focus on physical realism in general.
Even in real-time visualization, physically based rendering is now a common approach.
We have also learned a lot in the past years and developed new methods and techniques to capture materials and create textures that allow for photo-real rendering results.
We therefore decided to use that knowledge and experience to produce an updated version of our veneer collection; to bring the textures up-to-date with our current workflow and the standard of quality for which we aim.

New ready-to-use materials
We have included ready-to-use material setups for Corona Renderer™ (for 3ds Max™ 2017+), as well as Maxwell Render™ (3.1+).
There is a raw, satin, gloss, oiled* and waxed* version for every veneer (*Corona only).
